On Monday, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was hit with two lawsuits that accuse him of defamation.
The lawsuit comes as Jones spent years claiming that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was faked and that the parents of the kids who died in the shooting were “crisis actors.”
Now, Neil Heslin, Leonard Pozner, and Veronique De La Rosa, three parents who lost their kids in the shooting, have filed lawsuits in Austin, Texas. They are each seeking more than $1 million in damages from Jones, Infowars, and Free Speech Systems LLC. Infowars reporter Owen Shroyer is also mentioned in the lawsuit.

Heslin’s lawsuit goes after reporter Shroyer after he claimed that Heslin lied about holding his dead son’s body.
Pozner and De La Rosa are also going after Jones for calling them “liars.” Shortly after De La Rosa had an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper about the tragedy, Jones claimed the tragedy was faked.
Mark Bankston, the lawyer representing the cases for the parents, stated, “Even after these folks had to experience this trauma, for the next five years they were tormented by Alex Jones with vicious lies about them. And these lies were meant to convince his audience that the Sandy Hook parents are frauds and have perpetrated a sinister lie on the American people.”
This is not the only defamation suit that Jones is hit with, as there are at least two other cases. Back in March, a man who recorded the deadly car attack in Charlottesville has sued Jones for calling him a “deep state shill” and a “CIA asset” who helped organize the attack. The other lawsuit that Jones is dealing with is by a man that Jones falsely claimed to be the shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
