During her show, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro suggested that former President Obama should be blamed for Rob Porter’s wife-beating scandal.

Porter was Trump’s White House staff secretary who abruptly resigned on Wednesday after two ex-wives came out against him saying he physically abused them. They also provided photographic evidence. However, he continues to deny the allegations.

It was also reported that Porter was working without a full security clearance due to the accusations and a protective order he had from one of his ex-wives.

When news first broke of the domestic abuse allegations, White House chief of staff John Kelly defended Porter calling him a “man of true integrity and honor.”

He later backtracked his initial defense and released a statement that said he was “shocked” by Porter’s allegations.

Kelly’s statement read, “I was shocked by the new allegations released today against Rob Porter. There is no place for domestic violence in our society.”

However, Pirro says that Kelly shouldn’t be the one to blame for the scandal but rather the previous president.

Pirro stated, “For everyone who is looking for someone to blame: chill out. You want to blame someone, blame the batterer.”

She continued, “You want to stop a four-star general who is running the White House, who believes in chain of command, who makes a decision within forty minutes, because you hate President Trump? Find another scapegoat. You might want to look at the last president.”
