On Thursday, ring-wing conspiracy radio host of Infowars, Alex Jones, lost primary custody of his children. This follows a 10 day trial with his ex-wife, Kelly Jones. The decision was made shortly before midnight on Thursday.
His children, aged 9, 12, 14, previously lived mainly with Alex Jones but will now live with their mother. Jones will have visitation rights.
Jones’ attorney tried to argue that Jones was simply a “performance artist” on his shows, where his outburst of anger is just an act. However, the jury was not convinced and they ruled 10-2 in favor of Kelly.
After the verdict was reached, Alex Jones left the courthouse without commenting while his ex-wife, Kelly, thanked her family and attorney for their support.
“I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful support system, such a wonderful family and friends who stood beside me through all this, and I just pray that from what’s happened to my family that people can really understand what parental alienation syndrome is and get an awareness about it because we could stop this from happening in future,” she said.
