Trump and Kellyanne Conway finally publicly disagree on something (Details)

Trump recently told the country that his base is growing. He tweeted “hard to believe that with 24/7 fake news on CNN, ABC, NYTIMES & WAPO, the Trump base is getting stronger!” However, at least one person on his team is openly disagreeing.

While Kellyanne Conway has pulled out some of the most incredible lies in history to defend her boss, this time she is openly voicing her disagreement.

While news of Trump’s falling numbers has been surfacing, Conway told ABC’s “This Week” that Trump’s “approval rating among Republicans, conservatives and Trump voters is down slightly. It needs to go up.”

She went on to explain that his base wants to see him focus on his campaign promises rather than the failures of Congress.

“They are telling him just enact your program,” said Conway. “Don’t worry about a Congress that isn’t supporting legislation to get big-ticket items done. And don’t worry about all the distractions, diversions and discouragement that others who are still trying to throw logs in your path are throwing your way. Focus on the agenda and he’s doing that. Nobody can deny these economic numbers.”

While Kellyanne admits that his support is falling, Trump called the polling “fake.”

This open disagreement between Conway and Trump is unprecedented. While there have been recent reports that Conway was being considered for the communications director position, there’s a big possibility that that may be now off the table.

In fact, since it takes very little to get on the wrong side of Trump and be removed altogether, something like this could mean the end of Kelllyanne. It should be interesting to see how this plays out.
